The publisher of JSRW is responsible to ensure academic freedom for the Editorial Board and Reviewers in the completion of their tasks.

The publisher of JSRW must guarantee privacy, protect intellectual and creator rights, and ensure editorial freedom.

Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of the JSRW is responsible to choose which manuscripts are fit for publication, through editorial meetings that refer to laws on defamation, violation of intellectual rights, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.

In receiving, reviewing, and making a decision on a manuscript, the Editorial Board of the JSRW must as a principle not discriminate authors through race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, and political ideology.

The Editorial Board of the JSRW is responsible to check for errors on citation, reference, duplications, fabrication of data, falsification of data, and plagiarism, that may be present within a manuscript, to the best of its ability. At all times, the original author of a manuscript is responsible for any errors on citation, reference, duplications, fabrication of data, falsification of data, and plagiarism, present within their manuscript. If an error is found before a manuscript is published, the Editorial Board may decide to reject said manuscript. If an error is discovered after the publication of a manuscript, the Editorial Board of the JSRW may retract the publication of said manuscript. The Editorial Board of the JSRW may also take further punitive action related to the error. The Editorial Board of the JSRW will maintain consultation with the author in the event of a found error.

Responsibilities of the Reviewers

Reviewers are responsible to advise expert critique and commentary to the Editorial Board on making a decision on manuscripts being reviewed.

Reviewers are required to maintain information secrecy and not misuse manuscripts they use for personal gain or interest.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors should present their research manuscripts clearly, honestly, without duplication, data fabrication or falsification, or plagiarism.

Authors should be able to show citation sources from the authors they cite.

Authors agree that their writing may undergo editing after review for substance and writing, without changing the substance or main idea of their writing.

Competing Interests

In principle, the JSRW allows its own members of the Editorial Board or Management to submit articles. Such articles are still required to pass through peer review and editing. There is no guarantee that articles submitted by the Editorial Board or Management will pass through review and editing. These articles will be reviewed and edited by external editors.
